The Long Beach and LA market, in live numbers and plain words.

What homes ask right now in the eight cities I work, and what I make of it. The numbers come straight from the MLS and update through the day.

The market this month. In plain words.

35% of the homes for sale in the eight cities I work already ask less than they first did. A lower price doesn’t make a house a bargain. It does tell me the seller is ready to negotiate.

The typical home in Long Beach asks the least of the eight, and in Beverly Hills the most. Homes in Glendale have been on the market the shortest time, so if one there catches your eye, plan to move quickly.
